Author Guidelines

The requirements for manuscripts submitted to AnJOG conform to the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals, established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (www.icmje.org).
Manuscripts must be submitted in English, with 12p font size. All pages should be numbered consequtively in the upper right-hand corner in the following order: title page, condensation, abstract, text, acknowledgments, references, figure legends, and tables. The author(s) accept(s) responsibility that the electronic file is complete and accurate upon submission, revision, and acceptance.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, OpenOffice or WordPerfect document file format. Typed in English, double spaced, 12p size Times New Roman, Arial or Courier fonts.

  3. All pages of the manuscript was numbered in the following format;

    • Title page
    • Abstract
    • Body text
    • References
    • Tables
    • Figrue legends

  4. Cover letter should include following;

    • Title of the study
    • Names Authors (with surname capitalized) and affiliations
    • Contact information of corresponding author
    • If the findings have been presented in meeting or conference details should be given.
    • If applicable financial support or funding should be disclosed.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
