Abstract
Acute myocardial infarction is a rare and potentially fatal disorder during pregnancy. We report a case of 46-year-old pregnant woman presented with retrosternal pain at 27 weeks of gestation. Laboratory work-up and ECG were compatible with the diagnosis of acute myo-cardial infarction. Total occlusion of right coronary artery was confirmed with angiography. She was treated with primary percutaneous intervention. Posttreatment follow-up was un-eventful with spontaneous vaginal birth at term. We discuss the treatment options and our experience for the treatment of myocardial infarction during pregnancy.
